Located at 800 W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017, Wokcano operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under asian fusion restaurant, bar, chinese restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Los Angeles, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Wokcano at (213) 623-2288; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, wokcanorestaurant.com.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I ordered takeout at the counter. Pleasant staff, no issues. I realized later that I could have placed the order online (oops!). But they got my order to together really quick. I was there during happy hour and that was definitely the "hot spot" - lots of folks coming in for that. I ordered the Young Chow Fried Rice at the staff's suggestion along with egg rolls. It was delicious and the portion was huge! I honestly couldn't even finish it all. It would have made great leftovers except I was staying in a hotel. I would definitely return!

Wokcano provided a great dining experience with a modern atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service. The restaurant has a stylish yet comfortable setting that works well for both casual meals and special gatherings. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient, making sure the experience was enjoyable from start to finish. I appreciated the attention to detail and the consistency in quality throughout the meal. The overall ambiance was lively without being overwhelming, creating a pleasant dining environment. I would definitely recommend Wokcano to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience.

Small bar area and can be busy, but the happy hour is worth it. Good deals on sushi and drinks.

Loved this place! I decided to have sushi after a long day at work and Wokcano was the right choice. The place was clean, the food was delicious and the staff were caring and professional. Shoutout to Robert (Colombia) for such an excellent job. Now, about the food. I started with the hot appetizer called "The Monkey Brain" and I chose "The Ginseng Mule" from their signature cocktails. The Ginseng Mule was super refreshing. The Monkey Brain was a great combination of flavors, highly recommended. I also ordered the "Late Night Party Roll". I've never tried anything like it but I loved it. After three consecutive hits, I had to get dessert. I ordered a "Cappuccino", not a coffee, but some sort of cake and mouse that does look like a coffee cup, very good too.
